It plays and sounds as it should - excellently. The neck and truss rod are both in good working order. I just had the bass professionally set up (as of ) with stainless steel Rotosound Swing 66 strings (40-100 gauge). It's all original except for the output jack which has been replaced with a Switchcraft, and a couple of the little nylon washers on the tuners. This is a product of the Matsumoku factory in Japan, known for high quality instruments.
